Reneé Brown, WNBA Chief of Basketball Operations and Player Relations, oversees all player scouting and acquisition for the league as well as the administration of player-related policies and programs. In addition, she is responsible for overseeing the policies for all on-court basketball operations. Brown joined the WNBA in September 1996 as Director of Player Personnel and was promoted to Senior Director in October 1999. She was named Vice President in March 2000.
During the 1995-96 season, Brown served as an assistant coach to Tara VanDerveer for the gold medal-winning USA Basketball Women's National Team in Colorado Springs, where she helped with game preparation, player conditioning and scouting. Sharon Epperson, a veteran broadcast and print journalist with more than 15 years experience with national media outlets, has been a correspondent at CNBC since 1996. Sharon has been given numerous accolades for her work. In October 2005, she was presented the Vanguard Award for her distinguished career in business and personal finance reporting by the National Urban League Guild, she received a First Place Award for News Commentary from the New York Association of Black Journalists in February 2005, and in June 2003, she received the Trailblazer of the Year Award from that organization. Lisa Ling is a special correspondent for the Oprah Winfrey Show and the National Geographic Channel.
For the Oprah Winfrey Show, Lisa has been sent to cover the Lord's Resistance Army and the crisis of AIDS orphans in Uganda, bride burning in India and gang-rape in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Lisa was the first woman host National Geographic's flagship Explorer series which premiered two decades ago. LeAnn Marchbanks is a near 20-year veteran of American Airlines, based at their headquarter facilities in Fort Worth, Texas. She oversees American's global women's marketing initiatives, including the industry's first website dedicated to the women's market, AA.com/women. In addition, she also is responsible for American's Lifetime Partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and the company's Miles for Kids in Need® program.
Since joining American in 1989, Marchbanks has held key management positions in Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Cargo, Direct Marketing, Marketing Communications and Advertising. Prior to finding her way to American, she held various positions within state, county and city government, economic development and taught high school economics and management.

Barbara M. Rubin is the founding partner of the entertainment law firm of Peter, Rubin, & Simon. Ms. Rubin is a veteran entertainment attorney who has put her extensive in-house corporate business and legal affairs experience at the service of writer/producers, actors, directors and small production companies in both film and television.
The former Head of Business and Legal Affairs for Spelling Television (reporting directly to Mr..
